Diego Casasnovas is an actor, writer and podcaster from Puerto Rico. His story-telling revolves around his culture, mental health, sadness and grief but in a way that celebrates life and truth. Diego is trilingual with Spanish being his first language but also being fluent in English and Italian. Diego as an actor is committed to bring truth and rawness by using every tool, he has learned in drama school but also in life. Diego as a writer is committed to write stories that puts the Latin community in the spotlight, bringing forward not only the culture but also language and tradition.
Diego also has a podcast called “Let’s Talk Acting!”. The podcast is dedicated completely to the craft of acting. He brings professors, actors, artist and influencers to talk about what acting means to them and how acting can change the world.
Some of Diego’s inspirations are Shonda Rhimes, Viola Davis, Timothée Chalamet, Rupi Kaur and August Wilson.
Diego is currently a senior at Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts getting his BFA in acting. Diego is happy and proud to call Pittsburgh his home away from home.
